Electrical and Electronic Engineering (M.Sc.)

Electrical and Electronics Engineering deals with devices and systems that use the firsts of electricity and electromagnetism. Design, analysis and use of media-related devices, hardware and software such as communication, control and robotics, biomedical, security and defense, audio and video. In order to receive a Master’s degree from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Master’s Program with Thesis, as per the “Samsun University Postgraduate Education Regulation”, taking at least eight courses and specializations, including a seminar, provided that it does not exceed 21 credits and 120 ECTS, and also does not exceed 30 ECTS in a semester. A master’s thesis is required with a course. Students who successfully complete their courses and successfully defend their master’s thesis in an appropriate subject in front of a selected jury, and thus successfully complete the requirements of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Master’s Program with Thesis, will receive a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Electrical and electronics engineers who have this degree will have the opportunity to work in industrial organizations, academic life and government institutions, as well as participate in research and development activities. In addition to these opportunities, in addition to learning and applying advanced research techniques, they will gain the ability to access information in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and will have the expertise to evaluate and interpret information.
