Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc.)

The nationalization policy of defense technologies, which our country has determined as its important goals and priorities, especially in the last 10 years, has led to the need for research and trained human resources to become more evident. One of the most important elements of this target is the field of aviation and space. In this field, there is a need for human resources that will contribute to the technological accumulation of our country and raise it to the level of developed countries. On the other hand, in the field of civil aviation, there is a shortage of trained manpower, even if the newly opened aviation-related training institutions operating in proportion to the progress of our country are also considered. Aerospace Engineering Program under the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Department of Aircraft Maintenance and Repair serving in the status of a well-known school, the university’s airport, maintenance center, composite laboratory, wind tunnels, aerodynamics and structural laboratory, and aeronautical hangar area of 30 decares and our aerospace industry, it also serves our defense industry as a human resource. Collaborating with other engineering departments of the university, the program contributes to providing the qualified human resources needed by the country, and also cooperates with industrial companies in the region. Services are provided to all aerospace and defense industry companies, as well as to institutions that carry out the development and progress programs and activities of our country, such as the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, and the Ministry of Development.
